Clinical Psychologist and Healing Interior Designer

Michelle Spoelstra Profile

I’m delighted to connect with you.

Since I was a young girl, I have loved decor and design. I would regularly rearrange my furniture and art to create a new effect. Early on, I was interested in becoming an interior designer or veterinarian.  Though I did not know anyone in either profession, the answer reflected my inclination toward beauty, design and healing. In the following years, I studied psychology and then took the winding path to become a clinical psychologist. I have been immersed in the world of therapy and healing for the past twenty years. As a psychologist, my favorite work is with clients who are in the midst of a powerful life transition. It is an honor to support my clients in the process of transmuting their pain into beauty and growth.

This integration of my training as a psychologist and love of design provides multiple levels of support to you.  We work together to cultivate a space that will be aesthetically and emotionally uplifting and empowering for you.  We also may collaborate with my husband @dutchmandesignstudio to create a piece of bespoke art or furniture to further support your intention for your home.

Let’s begin today

If you are ready to support yourself through healing design, please contact me for a consultation call.  I am excited to begin this journey with you.
